Dublin-based producer XXXX In Stereo has a new single out today featuring Rory Sweeney. Listen to ‘Second Skin’ below.
Mixing the ambient textures and glossy sound designs of his former Marcus Woods alias with turbo-charged jungle breaks, it marks a new phase for XXXX In Stereo – aka Ryan Cullen – who debuted the new moniker last year with the launch of his HRLA label alongside atmospheric techno cut, ‘Patience’.
Alongside producers Julia Louise Knifefest and Fomorian Vein, Rory Sweeney is a member of Dublin experimental music collective Bitten Twice, who released their ‘Magic The Gabbering’ collaborative EP in May last year. He’s also a prolific producer in his own right, with a catalogue of footwork, hip-hop, jungle and more stylistic hybrids available on his Bandcamp.
