Premiere: Kush Arora ‘Desert Prince Riddim’

Kush Arora will release a new EP, ‘Vision’, via Tash LC’s Club Yeke label this month.

The San Francisco-based producer fleshes out the future-facing, genre-fusing style he’s been developing for close to two decades on this EP, fusing elements of dancehall, dub, drill, bashment and more into a percussive package. The four-track release features two collabs, with Jamaican MCs 45diBoss and Blackout JA respectively. Each brings their own rootsy, rowdy flair to Arora’s rhythms, which are tailor-made to rattle whatever soundsystem they pass through.

The instrumental dub riddims of these collabs form the second half of the EP and, below, you can hear ‘Desert Prince Riddim’.

‘Vision’ will be released on 7th February. Pre-order it here.
