Night Slugs releases 23-track classics remix album with DJ Lag, Ikonika, Scratcha DVA, more
The label is currently in the midst of a 15th anniversary global tour
Night Slugs has shared a remix compilation of tracks from its catalogue in celebration of its 15th birthday.
The 23-track record comprises remixes of classics from the influential label's discography, including foundational 2010s cuts such as Girl Unit's ‘IRL’ through to 2022 songs including Bok Bok's ‘Ouais’.
Remixers include the likes of label affiliates Ikonika, Helix, CalvoMusic and OSSX as well as peers at home and abroad including DJ Lag, Grandmixxer, Karen Nyame KG, Bored Lord, Hagan, Scratcha DVA, Jossy Mitsu, River Moon and DJ Polo. Listen to the full release below.
‘Classix Remixed’ comes on the heels of label boss Bok Bok's 2022 EP ‘Duetto’.
Night Slugs is also in the midst on an extensive ‘NS15’ global tour, taking in shows across the UK, Europe and Australia in celebration of its 15th birthday. See the full list of dates here.
The line-ups feature longstanding label mates Ikonika, Girl Unit and AYAYA as well as friends and newer emerging talent including Junglehussi, Fiyahdred, Leonce and Zaida Zane. Some special guests are still to be announced.
