Glastonbury’s Silver Hayes unveils new talks stage featuring Jayda G, Daytimers, SHERELLE, more
Hosting discussions about music and climate change, the impact of the England Women's Euros 2022 win, and more
A new talks stage is being unveiled at Glastonbury's Silver Hayes to celebrate the festival area's 10th anniversary.
Key electronic music names booked for The Information stage later this month include Jayda G, who is speaking with other panellists for ‘The Power Of Music To Accelerate Climate Action’ talk on Friday, 23rd June.
Big Team CIC, the charity run by the organisers of Bristol festival Love Saves The Day, presents the talk ‘Can Festivals Be A Force For Change?’ with representaives from Boomtown festival, Shambala, and more also on the Friday.
SHERELLE will host the talk ‘Grassroots Club To International Teams: How Women's Football & Society Has Changed Since The Euros’ on Saturday, 24th June. Jonny Banger, Nina Hervé and Jeremy Deller will take part in the ‘Books Are Weapons’ talk on the same day, which is presented by his collective Sports Banger and presented by Dance Your Way Home author, Emma Warren.
Elsewhere, on Sunday, 25th June, Daytimers presents the talk ‘How Can We Move The Needle Forward To Actual Inclusion?’ with Almass Badat of Dialled In festival and Puer Deorum, Sheerah and Thempress from the Daytimers team, hosted by PXSSY PALACE founder and DJ Nadine Noor.
Groove Armada's Andy Cato, who is also a regenerative farmer and cofounder of Wildfarmed, will speak on a panel titled Our Right To Eat Well on Sunday.
