Glastonbury announces line-up for expanded dance area
The festival also revealed ticket resale dates for later in April
Glastonbury has shared the 2023 festival line-up for its dance music area, Silver Hayes.
Marking a decade since the Dance Village was rebranded and revamped to become Silver Hayes, this year will see the area expand to take in a new stage, The Levels. Billed as an open-air nightclub, it will host sets from the likes of VTSS, Digital Mystikz, Daphni, Flava D, Saoirse, Suchi and back-to-backs between Batu and Anz; SHERELLE and I. JORDAN; Shanti Celeste and Danielle; and Palms Trax and Job Jobse.
Returning for 2023 is The Lonely Hearts Club where Helena Hauff, Daniel Avery, Erika de Casier, Earl Sweatshirt and Eliza Rose are all set to play. The Firmly Rooted Sound System will also once again pay homage to sound system culture with sets from Skream, LCY, Fiyahdred and Shannen SP, among others.
Finally, The Wow stage returns with sets from Soichi Terada, Bruce and Or:la, as well as back-to-backs between Moxie and Leon Vynehall; Craig Richards and Francesco Del Garda; and Mad Miran and Identified Patient. The stage's outdoor day parties will also be a feature once again, with Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound hosting a Hessle Audio takeover; Picnic Records set to welcome Gene On Earth and Andy Luff b2b Truly Madly; and Phonica Records marking 20 years with DMX Krew, NIKS and Call Super b2b Peach.
In addition to the music stages, Silver Hayes will this year set up a new experimental arts corner, as well as a stage for conversation and debate called The Information. Festival-goers will be welcomed to analyse and discuss topical issues in music and culture here.

Glastonbury takes place from 21st-25th June. It was announced in December that Elton John would be headlining this year's festival, with the likes of Fred again.., Fatboy Slim, Fever Ray, Leftfield and SHYGIRL going on to be added to the bill a few months later.
Ticket prices for this year's festival were increased significantly in response to growing inflation.
