Dublin club Index has announced the full programme for its re-opening season at a new city centre location.
From September 8th, Index will operate from a new venue on Dublin’s Liberty Lane, with a stacked programme of electronic artists secured for its inaugural season.
The re-opening party will be headlined by US house legend Armand Van Helden, while Irish techno DJ Tommy Holohan will join forces with Steel City Dance Discs affiliate X-Coast for the first Saturday session in the new space on 9th September.
With a view to “bring the world’s best artists to the city while also supporting Ireland’s brightest talent,” Index’s AW23 programme will continue with sets from likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Jayda G, Kölsch, Ben Hemsley, Blawan, Patrick Mason, Sasha & John Digweed, Indira Paganotto, Skin on Skin, and more, alongside Irish talent including Cailín, DART and Fionn Curran.
“As you all now know — we are on the move and have a brand new home. Moving Index wasn’t a decision we made lightly but we promise you we are working hard behind the scenes to give you a club experience built around you,” the team shared on Instagram.
“From here on out we aim to put YOU at the forefront and in September when we welcome you to our space — we want you to feel as much at home as we do.”
Along with an increased capacity, which will see Index become the biggest dedicated electronic music space in Dublin, the new venue will also feature heavily upgraded sound, light, and overall production. The promoters have also confirmed that they will be collaborating with the team behind District 8 and Life Festival at the new space.
