Move over Berghain, there's an even more exclusive new German venue causing a buzz! Welcome to Met Bar — the world's first nightclub for bees...

Ok, so although the new hive designed by creative agency Edgy & Cheesy isn't meant for humans (not that we'd fancy sharing a tight space with a colony of stinging insects anyway!), the project is a pretty cool one. 

Based in Munich, the six-storey hive sports an grim exterior complete with graffiti and blacked-out windows.

The eco-friendly concept revolves around bringing bees back to the city — “urban bees need urban homes and a place to unwind after a hard working day” — and given the importance of these bugs to our whole eco-system, it's got our full support.
