Brussels’ Fuse Club relaunches label after 10 years
It returns later this month with a new EP by Turkish/Belgian resident Altinbas
Brussels club Fuse has relaunched its label after a ten-year break.
Seven months on from announcing that its club - which first opened its doors in 1994 - would remain open for a maximum of two years following complaints from a single neighbour, Fuse's in-house imprint is set to relaunch following a decade of silence.
The label returns on 29th September with 'Reshape', a new EP by Brussels-based Turkish/Belgian artist and Fuse resident Altinbas. Featuring four tracks ('Hunt', 'Good Intentions', 'Reshape' and 'Sphaere') the release is available to pre-order via Bandcamp. Stream lead track 'Hunt' below.
'Reshape' follows on from a string of releases by Altinbas via his own Observer Station imprint, Token, SK_Eleven and elsewhere. His upcoming release (FUSEREC001) reignites Fuse as a label, having previously put out music by the likes of B12, Namlook and Anthony Rother.
Founded in 1994 by Peter Decuypere and Thierry Coppens, Fuse remains Belgium's longest-running techno club.
