Avalon Emerson remixes Fever Ray’s ‘Carbon Dioxide’: Listen
"It has fruitiness, a bit of extra everything, exactly what the song wanted", Karin Dreijer said of the latest 'Radical Romantics' edit
Fever Ray has shared a new remix by Avalon Emerson. Listen to the new edit of 'Carbon Dioxide' below.
This is the latest remix in a string of reworks of tracks from 2022's 'Radical Romantics', Karin Dreijer's first Fever Ray album since 2017's 'Plunge'. So far there have been remixes by Logic1000, Nifra, DJ HARAM, Equiknoxx, God Colony, Ivory and LSDXOXO.
"It has fruitiness, a bit of extra everything, exactly what the song wanted", Dreijer said of the edit. "We started sending stuff back and forth early on and some of my first vocal recordings ended up in there as well".
The 'Radical Romantics' album has seen Dreijer reunite with their brother and former The Knife partner Olof Dreijer. Watch the videos for their collaborations 'Kandy' and 'What They Call Us'.
Fever Ray has also announced the UK and European leg of their There’s No Place I’d Rather Be Tour, including a date at Manchester's Albert Hall on 1st March and London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 2nd March, 2024. See the full list of dates below.
Earlier this year, Avalon Emerson released the debut album of her pop band & The Charm project.
